I shared a fairly extensive story on Instagram yesterday, with some updates on my writing process for The Ghost of Melchizedek, and some previews and insights into a graphic novel adaptation I have tinkered with and am now animating.
Given I have roughly equal Instagram follows to Substack subscribers, I am behoved to share this news here, as the readers here are predominantly interested in my books, where Insta is more about my music.
I recommend you subscribe to both if you want to be updated properly about my creative activities and outputs.
Let’s begin!

Here are some of the extensive notes and plans I have for the Mardukverse:

But then… there's yet another expression of this story emerging!

Some pages from the graphic novel prototype:

And of course… Midjourney offer animation features now, so taking these graphic novel cells and making them come alive has never been easier. Here is a little taste of the animated series that could be made. Editing it is underway as a tinkering project for me, and a little easy pay-off for my harder job of making the graphic novel work with integrated and manually composited objects and layers generated by the AI upon my specific prompts per object per cell. VERY time consuming, but the animating of it after that is not. The sound design will be, but that's my forte and I'm looking forward to the ADR, Foley and Orchestration processes when the time comes!
The music piece is composed and produced by me, no AI, and is titled “Eve's Theme”.
That's all for now. Back to writing Book 3 while I have the chance!
