Post-launch stats, Publication Schedule, Upcoming gigs...
Just a quick one with some updates for you, friends.
It’s been just over a month since I activated this website and started building it, and just three weeks since I launched it on my birthday, February 1st. I’m very pleased with the immediate response and growing readership, and I will continue to aim to provide content you read. Knowing that hundreds of people a day are reading my books is a truly wonderful experience for me, cheers! 🍻
With the pleasing number of 4,444 views from the outgoing emails being opened, plus another ~1000 from other sources, and no sponsored advertising at all as yet, things are looking healthy here!
What’s next?
The new Audiobook series is proving very popular, and as I am rolling it out as-produced and locking myself into a weekly post-production schedule, I’m finding it a bit confusing to be editing and publishing text of a different chapter than I am preparing in Audiobook production land. So to improve my production schedule, I’m going to pause publishing any more text chapters of The Ghost of Emily, until the Audiobook episodes are caught up. Then text and Audiobook will proceed in synch.
If you’re already up to Chapter 9 of the text version of the book, why not circle back to the start and enjoy the Audiobook from the top for the next few weeks?

I love to hear your feedback at each chapter as you read, so drop a comment after you read a chapter and share your predictions, concerns, curiosities (but no spoilers if you’ve read ahead, or it’ll get deleted!).
Music
Lots happening behind the scenes, but with the Wedding season starting back up again, I’ll be doing many fewer public gigs. I have a potential regular thing coming up in the Southern Gold Coast, but not 100% yet. With more $ from Wedding gigs, and fewer gigs on the calendar, I have more time to write, so I’m eager to finish writing my next EP/LP which is underway, as well as keep slugging away at Melchizedek (Book 3). New videos coming soon too, be sure to follow my Instagram to get all the latest about my music life.
As for immediate gigs, my next two confirmed public gigs are both at Crafty’s in Harbour Town, Biggera Waters, Gold Coast.
