So I’ve been fairly quiet here the last couple of months, but anyone following me on Instagram will have a sense that I’ve been very busy over the Christmas and New Year period with the musical side of my creative expressions.
I recently took two days in High Society Studios in Murwillumbah to capture several performances of my best covers, and a few of my new originals as loop-based renditions.
I invite you to follow me on Instagram to get more regular updates on the music side of things for me, with regular reels posted from gigs as well recent and upcoming studio sessions.
Some exciting news is that I am getting my new band together for the first time this week, and we will be focused on rehearsing original songs from my new album SOLSTICE, which we’ll hopefully record together properly down the line when we’ve done some shows and have it sitting super tight.
For now, I have some hot demos - strong enough to convince an EXCELLENT group of musicians to join me on this quest to rehearse, perform, record and promote these ten original songs over the next couple of years. Planning to take this one all the way to Carnegie Hall.
I will share more of these demos in the months ahead, and might even polish a few up for a limited pre-release on the streaming platforms. For now, you get to watch the experiment unfold in my Instagram stories and reels, and with major updates here on Substack.
